Barro Heart Spoon

These beautiful heart shaped spoon were handcrafted by Francisca, a Guatemalan ceramic artisan. These pieces were handmade from Chinautla's clay-barro. Clay is made from mud that is hand-molded and dried for days in sunlight until it's prepared for cooking in an underground klin. 

The perfect spoon for your coffee or just to have something special in your kitchen!

Meet Francisca, a very talented ceramic artisan from Chinautla, Guatemala. She makes most of the barro/clay pieces for SÄQ

Due to the nature of handcrafted goods, each piece may differ slightly in size, shape, and color - that's the beauty of handmade!   Little imperfections in the product are normal due to the natural baking and drying process of the clay. Each piece is meticulously checked before shipping it out to you.
